(Seeing as everyone sort of ignored my CS instead only noticing SPT's. I decided that it will now be a 1 on 1)
Robin Hoof was part of the NLR team that was sent to claim Ponyville for the republic. When the news came a month prior he thought he'd never see action again due to gaining the rank of Brigadier but here he was; standing out side Alchemy Sparkles library (Previously his mother twilight sparkles). He walked inside and looked over the town noticing the 300 soldiers of the Republic and the 800 of the Solar Empire. "Seems Celestia really wants this town but we'll see about that." Robin returned downstairs and began leading the 300 soldiers to the town center.

Pax paced around the outskirts of town, worried about his assignement: He was to lead a certain group of rookies of the Solar Empire, and watch over the town, making sure the civilians were safe, and that peace and order were the only thing they would see. He sighed. He was way too old for this. He didn't have the body he once had, even if he could still fight with his magic. His doctor told him to retire: but sunnybut herself asked him to take this job, maybe his last. Using his magic to support himself, he went to the map, on his desk. The tent was bigger than it seemed, in the inside: He had a good ''living area'', where a small desk, a bag of hey (He couldn't have a better bed), and an area where bags of food leaned on a ''fireplace'', where he could cook. Cook... He swore he'd prefer to be a cook right now, than supervising young, reckless soldiers. He sighed again (he was about to mentally count them), and studied the map. His nephew lived in ponyville, along with his sister. He hoped they wouldn't be treatened: living near town hall and all... But enough of this stuff. They had more soldiers, better weapons and the support of Sunnybut. This war will never have to start: they almost had the control over town already. But will he bear the sun flag when it'll come to /kill/ ponies? When he'll have to make lifetaking decisions? ''I hope it'll all be over before we know it. I've never killed ponies before... Zebras, minotors, griffons, but not... My own kind...'' An officer came into the tent. ''Sir, I've been asked to take you into town; Princess Celestia herself asked that you'd be ''Familiar'' with the battlefield before anything starts.'' Pax turned to him, his beard flowing in the wind. 'I do have a kind of shady wizard style, now that i think about it.', he thought, grinning. ''Sunnybut asks, Ol'pony acts. Return to your station, kind sir. I'll shake those legs by myself.'' The pony saluted and left, and Pax waited a few seconds before going out in the sunlight. 'Stronger everyday, still hot as tartarus. Is she ever taking a break or what?' Shaking, he started to stroll over ponyville, mumbling insults at the world to himself.

Robin walked into the town centre alongside his second in command named Dusk Eclipse. They were disguised in regular civilian clothes and looked closely at each and every civilian and landmark. Analysing them with their magic. That's when they noticed Pax who certainly wasn't at his prime. They slowly made their way towards him. Marking him with a identification spell. Before walking straight past and walking back around but behind the buildings to stay unnoticed.

As he walked in the city he once knew, saw the smiling faces of civilians, and recalled the map on his desk to help him mentally imaging the city, he felt something he hoped he'd forgot. Being spotted. His training (in his youngest years) had reminded him to always know when ponies looked at him, and for what reason. And those two ponies who spotted him clearly weren't trying to remember his name; they knew him. Feeling a bittersweet wave of paranoia, he slowly turned around the building he was near of, and tried to escape the feeling. After a few minutes, he felt sure enough, and went to the town hall: the only place he could escape, if anything happened, and sat on a nearby bench. If they'd come back, he'd know their faces. Would it be the lunar republic? Or maybe hired assassins? Or, worst, Changelings? Or... Teinted zebras? He'll never get over the fear of zebras, coloring their white stripes black, hunting ponies. Dealing once with them was enough: But if he could ever face them again, or even hear of the presence of zebras in ponyville, he would drop the case and disert Sunnybutt. He straightened himself; the war was over. It's all bad memories. Let's forget them. Forget murders and bloodily hungry, flesh-eating zebras. If the NLR knew about tha weakness, he'd better commit suicide then think about getting cornered by one of them. Shaking on his bench, he waited. The camp wouldn't be a sure hideout, neither anypony he'd know: changelings and teinted zebras could be everywhere. He needed to hide, or face his fears... Maybe it was the best time to get this madness out of his mind, nce and for all? He began scrying the area with his magic, in an attempt to feel their presence.

Robin and Eclipsed were behind the town hall by the time Pax was scrying the area. They then began talking about him. "Seriously, they bring an old ass stallion to do war with us. Celestia is out of her mind." Eclipsed said out loud before Robin dragged him away whispering to him. "Seriously don't talk that loud. Just meet me back at Twi's Library to begin tommorows planning."

After his small paranoia crisis, Pax stood up and shakilly walked inside of town hall; he went to the welcoming desk. A small nod of the secretary told him ''go sit down and wait.''. He leaned next to the window, where a small breeze and a magic scan (he still was in an enemy territory) told him that he was being observed. He only caught a few words, but enough to say that he won't go to the library tomorrow. Zebras everywhere. He then fled to his camp. (sorry for the rushed reply, gtg)

After Robin and Midnight had planned the coming battle they simply went to bed. Robin took Twilight's old bed while Midnight took the guest bed. They then relaxed at the thought it will soon be over hoping that whoever was head of the Solar empire's troop's would accept their treaty.

While Pax walked towards his camp, he continuesly looked over his shoulder.
He had to cool down, as well as a good coffee; he had to find a library out there.
Maybe he'll find something tomorrow.
While walking, he started to write his report mentally.
'The city is looking calm, at least. I heard a conversation about a meeting at a library, between two ponies. One of them scanned me; i think i'll have to pay them a visit, or send some troops there.
Might as well say, the civilians look calm enough; it ain't a good sign, if you want my opinion. When will we spread the word about the upcoming civilian assault?
Yours truly, Spera.''
Yeah, that looked like a good report. For a tired old pony, it looked good enough.
The walk had hurt his legs; the shaky bones really needed some rest, and he'd need a little training, if anything went wrong. And a few guards might help too.
But, for now, coffee, duties, and sleep.

The next morning about 2 hours before the actual battle was supposed to take place Robin and Midnight headed over to the Solar Empires camp. They were guided through the tents before coming to the commanders tent. They entered and waited for the generals to arrive laying out there treaty.

Pax woke up suddenly. Coffee mugs everywhere around his bed, along with old books from forgotten times. He was ready to fight, training was done. But... He remembered something from yesterday. Library. He jumped out of bed, then crawled back in; he forgot he was old and weak. A few seconds later, when his legs re-popped in place, he slowly stood up, and went to the kitchen. No more coffee; Tea will have to do. He prepared himself a cup, than made some slight breakfast. Everything was going just fine, until a rookie came in. ''Sir Spera, there's some... NLR ponies in he commanding camp. You're requested in, first alone, to judge their intentions and will to treat... ''pacifically''. Do you want me to tell them to wait a little, so you can take your time to get-'' Pax stood up and pushed the rookie aside, completing his phrase. ''ready. Get back to your post, and keep an eye on them when they'll leave.'' Pax went to the commanding camp, his tea floating next to him. He passed next to the officer's tent; Ebon Fireheart. He yelled in front of the ''door'', ''Wake up, meet me in the conference tent. Twenty seconds, or you're older than me!'' He didn't even stop. His heart was racing. Finally, he came in view of the conference/commander's tents. They were joined together by another tent, so the commanders could be called easilly, and traveling between them could be done confortaly under the worst of weathers. He opened the pannel/door, slowly going to a seat, while talking. ''Good morning, gentlestallions. My name's Pax Spera. How can i help you today? A peace treaty, or a proposition of ceasefire in civilian zones?'' He reached his seat, slowly sat down. His hunches cracked uner his wait. A pegasus came in. ''I'm not late, am i?'' He noticed the other ponies. ''Oh my, excuse me. I'm Ebon Fireheart, first officer, in charge of the civilian zones. How are you two?'' He took a seat next to Pax, nudging his shoulder, as to say ''i won't forgive you the lack of briefing''.
